kde links open as file:///var/tmp/ in chrome bundle

Any system kde hyperlinks for example links in telepathy chat or spideroak etc do not open as webpages but as file:///var/tmp/kdecache-venky/
I am using a chrome bundle as my default browser

Hi,

There's a small error in the current chrome-dev desktop file, it should have a " %U" after the command on the "Exec=" line. Not sure about chrome-stable, but the method to fix it is the same.
You can change the command using kmenuedit or alter the .desktop file directly in ~/.local/share/applications/
It should read:

~/.cinstall/launchers/chrome-dev-19.0.1084.1-1 %U

Glad to hear it works OK. AFAIK it hasn't been reported yet, although often these issues get picked up on the forum.

Latest chrome-dev update should have the needed fix, please report back if that is not the case.
